JP Performance Dual Idler Timing Gear Drives and Oil Pumps
|
||
|
When you install a timing gear set it is important to make sure that
the gears mesh properly. This is when gears fit together to create a proper
working face. The mesh must be very accurate (within a second of a degree)
or it will fail to work effectively. When gears are fitted that do not
mesh correctly, failure is the most likely result. Other results include
excessive noise and premeture wear which leads to failure |

| Alloy Timing Gear Sets for Holden Six | ||
| Set contains alloy cam gear, thrust plate and instructions. There are two types of pitches available for Holden EH-HZ and VB-VK six cylinder engines, one imperial and one metric. The difference between the two is the pitch root diameter. The newer metric pitch gear gear has a greater chordal thickness which means that it can take more load and will last longer. | ||
